i thought gt fans were snobby, arrogant pricks. anybody know if its just an acc thing?

Not really an ACC thing, but there are some "elitist" schools like UNC, Virginia, Ga Tech, Duke that are a pain in the arse to be around. Others like NC State, Clemson, Florida State and Va Tech are more like SEC fanbases.
UNC fans, particularly in football will generally keep quiet until the game is over ... if they win, then you'll never hear the end of it; if they lose, you'll never hear from them.

UNC fans are BY FAR the snobbiest group around. They are a true wine and cheese crowd. Most of the UNC fans I know talk crap about everything but when their team loses they are nowhere to be found.

i live in Charlotte, too. moved here after graduating from LSU in 97. been working with ACC guys for years. UNC folks are great. Ga Tech is a complete non-factor. the undisputed champions of misplaced superiority complexes are without doubt Wahoo in flavor.
