Best way to score on UNC?

It is obvious that a balanced offense is the best way to score against anyone. But, if you could choose one way to score on UNC's highly regarded D, what would it be?
Passing game?
Verticle passing game?
Spread the field and use slip screens, swing passes, etc?
Running game?
Between the tackles?
Outside runs?
Just trying to get a feel for the weakness of their D.

Cross goal line with ball in hands!

I think its key to take as much pressure away from JJ. Hopefully get him an early lead and some breathing room. I think the best way for LSU to score is mixture of runs and play actions. Try to make it where JJ can make quick easy reads.

I think we need to loosen up their D with the passing game early..maybe try for some big play vertical stuff...considering their secondary is the weak link. Then hit em with the run game.
The above is definately a risk/reward scenario...but if you can get a big play downfield to a Toliver or Randle...Jefferson is relaxed and the entire playbook opens up.
I think our D can handle their Offense pretty handily...so the risk might not be as great.

Option to the short side.
Really I think it'll be swing passes and outside running.
ETA: If we are smart, we will run play action a good bit... but I don't think any PA is in the playbook anymore

Retard...
JJ alsways fakes the hand off before his 12 step drop and subsequent sack!

But is there a specific weakness that we will try to exploit? Or do we just try to stay away from our own offensive weaknesses? I read that crowton said he wanted JJ to be more aggressive. If this is the case, to meit seems that we may be trying to go at their weakness instead of just playing it safe and avoiding what we have not been good @ in the past.

Surround the playing field with huge SEC banners. They'll be so rattled we'll win going away.....
Seriously? IMHO, by abandoning the "I'm runnning up the middle no matter what" mentality and using the skill player weapons we have on this team. I simply do not believe they stack up to our personnel talent-wise- but they are a very good football team deserving of our respect.
With the right game plan, LSU is the better squad.

It'd probably be a good idea to spread them out and go 4 wide, with some no huddle.

I know what I'd like to see happen. First play from scrimmage. PA boot. Then hit em right in the teeth. Give that "tough" ACC defense some insight into SEC football.

I think we can exploit UNC's bad offense and have good field position. Field position will be key for us scoring points this season

Good point. If we can force some turnovers and have a good return game, we don't have to have huge numbers on offense to win.

just watch how key the kicking game will be....
Jasper is good from 50 and possibly close to 60...especially in a dome.
their kickers long FG last year was 42 yards.....he's good and made 17 of 20 attempts but obviously not a strong leg. UNC will have trouble moving the ball and LSU might also, but we have the ability to put points on the board when the ball gets to the 35...whereas UNC will need to get the ball closer to the 25....

Shep, shep and more shep...with a little dash of Tolliver, Randle and Peterson...plus more shep... And one big Ford to wash it down with in the 4th qtr...

There D is overated,
The ACC is so weak, and there isn't really anything like a high powered offense in there, an I know he had a bad one last year but we were playing SEC teams.
Even if we squeeze out 24 point that i will win it for us because there Offense is terrible, and our defense is jsut as good as theirs, just younger and less hyped

How can you call a defense overrated that has 7 legit NFL draft picks that also was a top 5 defense last year?
As I've said before on another thread, LSU has the slight advantage on offense. And by slight advantage I mean in terms of the tallest midget. UNC has the better defense, case closed on that one.
To answer the OP, the best way to score on either team is a defensive touchdown. Both offenses are atrocious.
