My question to all the guys ...

Do and should you try and mix women and fishing?

I've heard success stories and I've heard failures ... what do you think?

I've brought my wife fishing a few times, its not something I'd do every time but she seems to enjoy it. When the action is hot you can hardly pry the rod out of her hands. The only real problem is that my wife consistently catches larger fish than me on each trip we take together!

I have taken my wife fishing and had a great time. She tends to enjoy it more when we are catching fish, and not so much when things are slow - she doesn't really enjoy the whole experience as much as she does simply catching fish. Taking her every once in a while is fine, but I definitely enjoy going with a buddy, or by myself more times than not.

Mrs. TigerDeacon likes to go fishing for catfish and bream in our pond. She even helps clean the bream.

We have one that goes with us during the summer regularly, she can fish with any of us with live bait. Probably better.

Most girls I have fished with complained it was hot or they were hungry or bored, etc.

I have gone out with a few girls on fishing trips. Not a problem IMO, if they enjoy fishing.

My wife is often my fishing buddy. She is very much into it. However I will say that if we dont catch she gets somewhat aggitated. (Never enough to affect the overall trip)

Last year my bro came in town and we fished red snapper out of venice.....he caught a 20+ pounder. My wife said, twice, she did not like the rod n reel she was using and that he was using hers. She even commented once he was fishing her normal side of the boat but since he was in from out of town it was ok.

Really made me laugh. Alll in all I enjoy her being there.

No way that would be let go with the woman on our trips. She has hers and uses them, period. As far as the area casting from, we move so much around the boat it's a wash.
She's a pepper when it's needed.

My girlfriend lays and tans in the boat until the fish start biting. Which is cool with me cause she is quite when she tans and is happy when she's catching fish.

My wife is a coon-arse so you bet she loves to fish. She was pushing for the newer boat more than I was! All I was thinking was the debt. All she was thinking was the fishing and being on the water. Her sisters are all taken guys!
