18 seconds… A stat that is not being talked about…

I am extremely frustrated about what I am seeing in the passing game this season, but how many people realize that this 2010 LSU Football team has only been behind in a game for 18 seconds this entire season and it was a total of 3pts (the very next offensive play was a 50 yard touchdown pass, and I also realize that this last one we have thrown all season.)
Can Alabama, Auburn, or FL say this?
Again I am still very frustrated about what I see in the passing game, including pass completion %, 3rd down conversion %, drop passes and I’m sure that this will go on and on. But damn most teams pass the ball and gain more yards in the air when behind…. Now I am not saying that from what I have seen from JJ is giving me confidence that he could put up huge numbers and bring us back from a behind, but damn I don’t think there is any other fan base in the country that would cry and bitch so much from being behind for a total of 18 seconds this whole season and being 4-0 against 4 BCS schools… Enjoy what you are seeing on defense, special teams, and the improved running game!!! Save the bitching about everything else for January I assure you will have plenty time to do it…

I was actually thinking about this yeaterday afternoon. I couldnt remember if we had actually trailed at any point in the season.

LSU is supposed to be 4-0 at this point. We have a NC caliber D and STs. This would have been a good stretch to try and iron out the kinks on offense and not when Les looks up in the Swamp and sees that we are down by 14.

No, but we have yet to play any of those aforementioned teams. I'm not saying that it's not something to be happy about, but come back and talk about this after we've gone through the meat of our schedule.
And another question: Do you honestly think that we will EVER have the ability to come back on any one of those teams after trailing?

Good points and statistics, but this problem isnt just gonna go away.It has to be fixed now.

What are we going to do when we're down 2 scores in the 4th to teams like florida or auburn? I basically think it'd be the ballgame.
