Have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Whom do you want to have this mercy?
What particularly is driving your current pleas to God (or whomever as identified in response to the above)? Like do you pray for mercy every day? Or are you just virtue signaling for some vague political purpose?
Did you make a similar plea durint Biden’s military misadventures?
Do you make it for those killed by militant Islamic extremists? Trannyterrorists? Black thugs?
Or are these very customized, limited, carefully curated pleas?

Where was Trump!!! If he hadn’t been personally killing a foreign terrorist-supporting death-cult dictator who has enriched uranium, he could have stopped this!!!!

Since your thread got whacked while I was typing this:
Are you referring to my question about Rome? I asked you numerous honest questions and you respond with utter absurdities.
I asked you a question to attempt to understand how you might explain which Roman Catholic version of your pejorative “Billy Bob” (or Guglielmo Roberto) over the past 2000 years the authority of whom you choose to elevate over the Logos. Or we don’t even have to go there: which do you elevate over those who claimed infallibility before and after the current Billy?
And not that I need to defend my bona fides, but I have studied Patristics at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional level for over three decades.
I wrote a thesis on Gregory of Nyssa and Macrina. They had some rich thought. I could walk you through its inconsistency with today’s Rome if you’d join that journey.
I’ll leave you with some of my favorite quotes though :
“We…are not justified through ourselves…or works…but through faith. —Martin Luther … no… Calvin… no Owen. No wait wait wait, I’ve got it Edwards!!
Wrong. It’s Clement. Of Rome. A possible direct disciple of Peter. And definitely born just a few years after Christ’s death. A bishop. Many centuries before the utter corruption of Rome.
Let’s continue our tour eastward to Alexandria. Behold. Another … Clement! Great name. Clarifying that works (sanctification) ALWAYS accompany justification but are not it’s cause:
“We do not understand…‘Your faith has saved you’…that those who have believed…shall be saved, unless also works follow.” Follow. That’s James. (I can walk you though the Koine and the Scriptural context if you’ll stop taunting people and read— tolle lege!! (Augustine)
Anyway, just a couple of realllly early examples. Not even to Basil. Nicea. Augustine. Is it 400AD yet? Nope.
Ok I’m out. I have to go hear Billy Bob spout baseless opinions in the am and make some deposits in the reverse ATM while handling a snake and/or tarantula. Nabal.
I can’t leave you without Basil. The man!
“Faith and works must be joined … for the faith which saves us … is that which works by love.”
Without works, one cannot be saved.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
A very easy concept that isn’t remotely controversial. Consider why Rome would purposely distort that truth into a perverse causative and insecure system of works righteousness and pay-for-play.

I lived near Highland Road from the mid-70s until late 90s and my family still does. I have never had an issue with people going too slowly. Quite the opposite. We were rear ended on it as a kid. Had a beer bottle thrown at me by an idiot speeder with road rage. And numerous other insane incidents.
People going 35 on the curvy parts does not concern me.

I’ve been playing around with Claude for some parts of my job and it’s scary close. I still have to give it tons of prompts and make minor changes, but it’s gotten so much better even since last year. I was extremely skeptical of it being worth a shite up to this point, but it’s definitely concerning me now
Ditto.
I have been practicing law for 25 years and have tons of work product, know how to craft effective prompts and quickly spot issues and refine with more prompts, and I have the "pro" etc versions of all the major platforms + CoCounsel.
It is scary what this shite can do. But the really freaky part is how much it has improved in the past few months.
You mean like with a cloth?

Kek is there undercover.
Gosling and Mel for the win. Denzel’s is a little hard to decipher. Would need a couple seconds to see how that developed. Bill Murray seems genuinely concerned but also like he’s suppressing amusement.
