The man!

I’m reading Athanasius On the Incarnation.

I highly recommend the Romanists to return to their pre-corruption roots and reform the church. What a concept. (Maybe skip Origen’s weird heresies lol.)

It’s an impressively low post count for a nearly 20yo account. And yet still way too prolific.
I want the woodland edition and then want to lift it another couple inches.

I’m spoiled by at least 8.3” that’swhatshesaid and AWD or 4x4 is nonnegotiable where we live.

Anyway, I want one but every time I go to buy a new car I talk myself out of it. I actually want it for the wife nopics to drive. Great MPG. Drives like a car. Tons of cargo space. AWD and decent ground clearance. All in a Toyota. No brainer except for the sticker.
I see multiple contestants per day in Upstate SC. I truly believe some of the dumbest white people on the planet live here. And aggressively dumb. On a mission to prove to the world just how dumb they are.

Today’s example was a U-turn in the middle of a 4-lane, undivided highway. Despite the swingout, she still didn’t make the turn, hit the curb, reversed, blocked two lanes.
Who determines whether the Pope is being so faithful?

What if the pope told the cardinal, hey Bud, no you’re wrong, you may criticize me, but the cardinal disagreed with that, would the cardinal immediately self destruct in a cosmic conundrum?
Don’t get me started on this one.

My wife and I are not anti-vaxx. I can do the rough cost-benefit analysis even without full information and spending my life worrying about it etc.

But I asked numerous doctors, nurses, anyone else who’d “listen” why someone with ZERO risk factors for Hep could possibly give that to her newborn.
Blank stares. Both kids.
I asked if they thought they we were at risk simply by being at their hospital.
Nothing.

It is a lowest common denominator hospital risk avoidance. And/or just rote ignorance.
ha. they did probably get Georgia right. Bones is solid and a fun spot.

Should be illegal

I’m sorta okay with a good caning for certain crimes. I’m not SAYING necessarily this should-be crime should be punishable by caning.
I wouldn’t imply that. I resent even the insinuation that I could possibly think that appropriate. How philistine.

It did not happen in Atlanta.. it happened in DeKalb County

Acktfhoooallly… there are parts of DeKalb County that are City of Atlanta. Roughly 10% of the City is in DeKalb.

They were always trying to annex my neighborhood. We had an Atlanta address but unincorporated DeKalb.

The more you know. And less anyone cares. lol.

Ha. Exactly. Also the “household stability” part is probably referencing at least in part studies on a strong male figure in the home and growing up being held and nurtured by a mother.

I’m sure Freddy the Figment with his strap-on mammaries and his Papa Bear are perfectly fine substitutes.

I have to extend every year bc never get my K-1 until Sept. also I’m a serial procrastinator. But I’m sticking with the k-1 excuse for muh ickstinshun habit.
I had a very similar case in Atlanta. I handed it off a few years ago and I think they’re still fighting over that shite in court.

I’ll check on it.
Trump speaking ex cathedra>>> pope’s ignorant political diarrhea.

And imagine sitting in those same chairs during your children’s book convention the next week.

Hopefully they have chair condoms.

I love doing this on work trips but the goal is to talk to no one. It’s amazing.

Haha yep. Last one was rooftop hotel bar in Tampa. I put on my invisibility cloak. Then some gross drunk couple came over from the pool and sat too close to me for the PDA they were engaging in between fries.

It isn’t as fun as it used to be.

Haha. I just wear Costco pants. I buy a pair every time they’re on sale. At $14.99, you can rack up quite the collection. Slide on Keen work boots. I’m very cosmo.
The the zipper stopped staying up on the last two pair of jeans I’ve bought. Pretty much immediately. And no I’m not fat.

Elastic here we come. Button fly is too much work for someone who drinks coffee and water all day.
