sweet--did you do the metal work yourself?also,did you put a barrier between the meatal used in the fire tray and the wood,or does the metal just touch the wood?

wow, that turned out great! would you be willing to share your drawings/construction plan? I've been wanting to build one for awhile now.

Here is a picture with top off. Did everything myself except top. Buddy is a welder and he did the stainless top. Used Green Egg felt seal for lid.

Kind of built it "on the fly", no real plans. I will take some measurements and material list down this weekend and post on Sunday or Monday. I have a Tiger Eye logo w/ GEAUX TIGERS being sandblasted to go on the front. The hardest part was bending the Aluminum for the inside. I screwed up a $20.00 dollar roll before I got the hang of it

I fired it up last night, it held temp at 345 degress for 2.5 hours without adding any fuel. I will get you a material list and dimentions this weekend.

I got a call last week that I won one of these from a benefit raffle and should be receiving it in a week or two. I've never even seen one used much less cooked on one myself. I hope whatever I won looks that good though. Nice job

they cook great! i had one a long time ago, but it eventually fell apart. whole hogs, half hogs, roasts, turkeys, whatever you can think of does great in a CM.
