I almost immediately decided I didn't have the energy to argue on here today. But since someone caught it, I do stand by it. Our electorate is getting dumber, more uninformed, and we're more prone to developing these weird para-social relationships with politicians, and it's ruining us slowly but surely.

about to start Doctor Sleep after finishing the Shining

I really enjoyed the Doctor Sleep novel. Never saw the movie. The film and written versions of The Shining were both great. The amount of inherent evil in Jack vs the hotel differs between the book and film versions.

I haven't been this excited about a rap album in quite a while. Anyone else?
It takes no more time to see the good side of life than the bad.

Life is too short to spend it at war with yourself.
Around 5-6 days in 2012. I was profoundly depressed at the time

It's a really good book, and it's not even his best work. Erik Larson is one of my favorite non-fiction authors. Check out his other works if you haven't yet
