An achievement not to be scoffed at. Ever seen:

The Greatest w/ Muhammed Ali (1977)

The Jackie Robinson Story (1950)

Both icons singularly failed to successfully portray themselves

I've heard that Safe at Home (1962) starring Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, is a classic for similar reasons -- Maris in particular is said to be unforgettable -- but I've never managed to catch it.

you haven't missed much, aside from Rat Pfink a Boo Boo

Fortunately Smokey & The Bandit II came out in 1980, so we're safe there

Most of movie acting is simply having screen presence. Eminem is pretty good, I'd like to see him in something else, actually.

Yeah rappers sometimes don't make that bad of actors. I liked TuPac in Gang Related. He coulda had a future as an actor too.

Eminem should have probably went to acting full time after his rapping career peaked out.

1st street and 1st ave could intersect.

We have something like that in CBus

Yeah well you wouldn't know it because who watches the Grammy's. He's not all over tv & radio like he was when he first hit the scene. Or maybe I'm just not watching & listening.

What I'm saying is to the casual observer like myself who doesn't listen to his music he doesn't seem to have the media exposure he once had.

Eminem is probably on tv/radio more now than ever I'd say. And that's not because he's making better music.
