I was at one of my favorite eateries earlier, and when I went to get my drink I was completely dissapointmented when I saw they had switched from coke to pepsi. Am I the only person that when I order a coke and the server says is pepsi fine I respond NO! Let me know

I usually go for a crown on the rocks and an extra dirty Beefeater, but I agree that pepsi blows.

I say no as well, but probably for a different reason than you. For me, I won't buy anything that has PepsiCo's name on it, which includes, Taco Bell, KFC, etc.

And besides, sure, Pepsi tastes like garbage!

Pepsi is delicious. I didn't mind it as an alternative when I could have sodas.

I always say no and switch to iced tea when they ask if Diet Pepsi is ok. Hate diet Pepsi.

Pepsi often wins in a blind taste because it's sweeter and if you just take a sip people tend to like it more. But if the taste test required them to drink the whole can the results would be different

Oh, I know. It's not my cause celebre.

I actually like both, depending upon my mood, and think they both have rather distinctive tastes.

Probably the most disagreeable soft drink out there.

But there is no argument however that they're very similar. I just don't see how someone could love one and hate the other.

I don't have a problem with Pepsi. I like Coke better, but on the rare occasion that I order a Coke, it's because I want the carbonation/sweetness that a Pepsi can also provide.

I don't drink carbonated stuff often though

When this comes up I switch to Dr. Pepper or Sweet Tea

Pepsi sucks. It's like comparing a homecooked meal to a microwaveable

Right. Usually I compare things like fountain coke to home cooked meals.

I find this true for reg Pepsi, but something bad happens with diet. Much more chemical tasting.

If they're so similar, why you don't write a letter and get the two companies to join forces?

Pepsi is stale coke with spoonful of sugar in it.

I don't approve of Pepsi. My administration frowns on Pepsi.

My best friends mom challenged me to a taste test because she said there was no difference.

Not only did I pick correctly every time but I really pissed her off when I smelled the glass and said that is pepsi.

Diet Coke is my favorite drink.
But I like Pepsi WAYYYYYY more than regular coke. I hate regular coke.

I actually get excited when a place says "Pepsi fine?" because it's something I drink rarely and really like.
