Haven't been in a while, but the last time I was there, I had the BLT with the buster crab and I loved it.

Fried oyster salad is a MUST! It has avacado, bacon and flash-fried oysters.
Don't get the steak...it's ok but it's just a steak. Gumbo is pretty good, too.

Get the onion tart appetizer. It's the best thing on the menu. They call it a flamkuche but it's a lot like a pizza. Carmalized onions, bacon and cheese on a thin crust pie like dough.

main courses: Jumbo shrimp "en cocotte", luke burger, BLT, chicken and waffles...all are excellent.

starters: raw oysters, rabbit and duck livers, hog's head cheese plate are all great as well.

yes, the louisiana duck and rabbit liver pate was my favorite dish. i also remember something like a pulled pork panini (?) fondly. the fried oyster salad was good too.

also got the tarte flambee (or flammkuchen) and was not impressed. it tasted "too greasy" or "too heavy" if that makes sense. i have had them in sw germany and in alsace though, and maybe that colored my reception of luke's take on the flammkuchen.

all in all, a great little restaurant.

I've had that and it is excellent. I got the burger, and it was one of the best I've had. I was little disappointed that they were out of the beer that I wanted. I want to go back and try something other than the burger. I had heard so many good things about the burger that I had to get it on my first trip.
