I am a bit confused on how/where these guys operate. I know that there are two websites:
www.weeatthestreet.com & www.nolafoodtruck.com.
Both of these sites seem to promote mostly NOLA; however, they seem to only stay in Baton Rouge. The only food truck I follow on Twitter/FB right now that seems to stay in NOLA is Taceaux Loceaux. Can anyone shed some light on the food trucks? Their websites are misleading.

A few of them are there a few times a week. They go all over though.

Follow them on FB and you will always know where they are.
I love these things, esp. Kicker's BBQ and Curbside.

I'm trying to determine which are in NOLA and which trucks are in BR.

NOLA foodtrucks are Taceaux Loceaux and Boo Koo. There are others, but mainly those two rule the roost. Of course both TL and Boo Koo recently opened full time kitchens in Chickie Wah Wah and Finns, respectively. There is also a Brazilian BBQ, a cupcake truck, and a gelato truck.

NOLA food trucks are hampered because there is an ordinance against them in the area from the Miss River Bridge to Esplanade. Which as you know is where many offices, tourists, business are.

several of those were on government st across from westmoreland shopping center yesterday evening. It was like the food court for people who couldn't go to the mall.

I've asked... I think the permitting would be a nightmare, if even possible.

Yes, the Wednesday Roundup, good stuff. I highly recommend Kickers BBQ, a Coffee Truck, then a banana and nutello crepe for dessert. Go Hungry!

The sheer thought of an alcohol truck riding around BR selling beer and liquor makes me smile.

Imagine the trucks:

"whiskey a go go"
"beer and brats"
"German pub on wheels"

it would never work in BR with open container laws. now a daquari truck could make a killing in NOLA
