Just watched this movie for the first time. Is it just me or did Tarantino make a complete plot change from the escape to Mexico and the vampire rampage at the titty bar?

The vibe certainly switches to that of a B-Movie after Salma Hayek's dance. I always liked the way Robert Rodriguez shot and edited the hotel scene after Seth gets back, and Richie murdered the hostage.

One of my favorite movie scenes ever. Seriously. The slow reveal with the snap, quick cuts is awesome. I usually turn the movie off after Salma Hayek dances...that's where the movie ends for me.

That was a good scene. I thought it was a great movie until Salma stopped dancing.

On the flip side, one of the best lines comes at the film's conclusion.
Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a frick how CRAZY they are.

The first time I saw that it was on HBO or Cinemax pre digital cable so there was no synopsis to know tat it was about vampires and I had never heard of it. So I'm watching from the beginning and really liking it and then yea... you know what happens. Needless to say I did one of these:

One of those movies I can't turn off, even if I miss the beginning.
It moves every time I hear Juliette Lewis in Tarantino's fantasy...

I always fricking love that line and how it is delievered.
I bust out laughing at it no matter how many times I see it.

I liked this movie, vampires and all. I think Selma may have given me one of my first pitched tents when she danced.
ETA: I now vaguely remember hoping she did soft core on Cinemax or HBO and looking for her. Little did I know she was kind of a "real" actress.
