I almost started a similar thread, but the kid wants to be different and tell everyone how he does his own thing. holding that conviction all the way through Feb is another story. all the LBs we already have committed wont help him second guess his decision though.

Ive heard that he has looked terrible in coverage drills at combines and camps.. FWIW

I don't think the kid has any idea what he wants to do. Each recruiting year there is the guy who seems to commit to nearly every place he vists, and Phillips is the poster child for the 2012 class. He's just busy being "special" now, patting himself on the back. If he changes to LSU, that's fine. If he doesn't, it won't cost LSU any games over the next four years.
