Sup now ESPN?
Nah Les you are using too much insight and rational thinking. At ESPN all we do is SPIN SPIN SPIN no matter what.

What I need to have is film," Miles said Thursday, according to The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. "Because we make all the decisions ourselves on whether the guy's good enough to play, nobody else. As long as they give us the video, that's all we really need."

Certainly, it stands to reason that if all the athletes were mentioned went to other schools, there wasn't any secret deal to come to ours. So you'd have to think we paid for the film, nothing else.

them never admitting to being wrong is what will be up.
id like to see them just once issue a fricking apology for being wrong. They wont do it though once they are owned they move along to the next nonstory and blow it up hoping to hit on it.

How about this paragraph:
Little use to ESPN experts maybe.
quote:
The analysis the of video footage obtained through a public-records request concluded the information likely would be of little use during the recruiting process.

Nope, and ESPN will never apologize because they have no fricking credibility and are not held accountable by anyone.

The only person that worked for ESPN who ever admitted to being wrong was Trev Alberts. He ended up getting fired. Go figure.

Was it film of the recruits playing poker or something? I don't see how game film would be useless unless it has very out-dated, a la the video Oregon received.

How can they judge what is useful or not??? Obviously, they can't. It just makes for a better story.

Hey, I’ll tell you what. You can get a good look at a butcher’s arse by sticking your head up there. But, wouldn’t you rather to take his word for it?
Wait ESPN, I meant:
Of course, I can get a hell of a good look at a T-Bone steak by sticking my head up a bull's arse, but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

This story is so worthless. If they are going to investigate LSU, then they need to investigate every school, because all of them use scouting services similiar to this and $6000 is a typical price for these services.
