Originally it was supposed to be a bank. from what i was told, Derek was offered $1 million and the cost of building a new restaurant for him to leave and sell the old Koto. heard the bank wasnt going to go up anymore, but i could be wrong.

Glad to see Derek get major dinero for it, if true,. Because he spent damn near that same amount having to retrofit/redo the old Brinker Brady's American. Love Derek's signature line of rolls, especially if done by his hand.

it's a chickfila. the owner took control of the lease last year and finally started stage one of construction recently. it'll be open by the end of spring/early summer
