The transition to baseball will not be nearly as tough as football. With regular series against TCU and Rice OOC, we are more than prepared

I'd expect you to come right in and compete in baseball. Heck maybe in basketball too. Outside of Kentucky the SEC is really down in roundball.

Our new basketball staff is amazing. Great mix of X&O's and recruiters. We have been hanging around #20 in the country making NCAA's and seeing the 2nd round but nothing more.
With the staff we just hired, expectations are through the roof. Cyprien and Reese are going to bring elite talent to College Station

We should be able to really compete in basketball. Kentucky and Florida are ahead of us by a decent margin, were about on the same level as Vandy right now and things look promising on the recruiting front. Things can change in a hurry in basketball as well.

Unless things drastically change, A&M will be in the top half of the basketball of the SEC from Day 1. The SEC has done away with divisions now, it's a free for all in basketball now.
