Just wondering if any of ya'll can give me some insight on whether or not you need a ticket for a 2 year old to go to the game. And yes, I know that officially, if you have an arse, then you need ticket. Just wondering how the ticket takers are when bringing in a small child. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, a 2 year old in Tiger Stadium isn't fun for anyone... you, the kid, the people around you...

unless you plan on the kid sitting in your lap the whole game he needs a ticket. even then that's pretty rude to the people next to you.

yes you need a ticket. Try to find a babysitter. I brought my boy to his first game at 4 yrs old. It was a game like NW ST, and he was ready to leave by half. If you do bring em, be prepared to leave early.

ETA - 2 is a little young IMO. I did bring my 2 yr old daughter last year, but it was a Suite ticket, so she really couldn't bother anyone and she took a nap on the sofa anyway.

Yes, I was planning on having to leave early anyway. Figured this would be a good one to bring him to his first game at TS.

If you are a parent of a 2 year-old and don't know this then you aren't a very good parent.

The game will be better for you and the child if you get a sitter and do not bring your kid to the game. Large crowd, lots of noise, child with the attention span of a mosquito will make your game an unpleasamt experience.

In the "good ole days" kids under about 3 didn't need a ticket but now they must have one! Since they didn't have a seat they had to sit on your lap. Not much fun with a little furnace sitting on you at September games.

I'm starting my 2-year olds out slowly with an SMU game. The scene, the field, etc.
Save TS for later.
You wouldn't want his first time to be with a porn-star, so save the best for later...

Why not? Its a great education for 2 yr olds. They get to see grownups acting just like them and they learn every cuss word known to man.

My father actually likes to tell the story of the first time he took me to TS when I was 4. I got into a fight with a Florida fan who was a grown-arse man and ended up kicking him in the back of the head, and he spilled his drink all over himself. Dad skips a few of the details after that, but we ended up getting throw out of the game at some point soon after.

You will be fine. Just make sure you are in an adult section. But you will be lucky to make it to halftime and will probably not remember any of this

Honestly, if I brought the little man, I was figuring on leaving around halftime anyway, hopefully with LSU having a 28-3 lead or so!

Bring some ear plugs for the kid so he won't have to hear some of the garbage coming out of your section's resident drunk.
