While I agree with him, it's cute he thinks he has a say so.

This. What USC and Arkansas want does not matter. They are still the newbies.

What is this? A glee club? I'm sure our input matters just as much as any other institution.

normally yes they do - but it turns out for USC and Arky Slive calls Clemson and Texas to ask for their input instead

No it doesn't. If the Florida State deal had not fallen through then you guys would be in the Big East right now and happy to be there.

I think you guys are forgetting that each team in the SEC, regardless of football success or lack there of, have an equal vote when it comes to this. So yes every President in the SEC has a say so.

Sorry but its a fact of life. You can foolishly pretend that it isn't true but I guess thats what they mean when they say ignorance is bliss.

If any of you don't think that So. Carolina and Arkansas' votes don't matter as much as any other schools in the SEC, then you're just plain frickin stupid and you're showing it.

Good one. But when they have votes UF doesn't get 8, LSU and Bama don't get6 each. There are only 12 votes for each school and they all count the same.

Chill, bro. I said it to get a rise out of you. And don't worry about what happened in the past - Dietzel screwed us too.

Missouri will be the 14th team.

They are not south, nor east, but who gives a frick nowadays? Just get 'em in so we can have an even number.

What does clemson have that WVU doesnt have?

SC already has the mkt. WVU has better football and hoops. I will concede baseball.

So even though the wva mkt is small, it does add a new mkt, plus better football and basketball. shrug.

WVU would also be a natural rival for KY as we are next door neighbors. Even Ky deserves a rival!

I have no issue with Clemson coming. A lot of SC fans don't. Most will admit that they have the traditions and fanbase of an SEC school already.

Uh, Kentucky would've beat that hillbilly arse a few times out of the last few years. WVU hasn't been any better than Kentucky on average recently (I'll give you this year obviously). We have a bigger stadium, better attendance, and made nearly $20 million MORE than WVU in football revenue in 2010. Enjoy the Big East, though.

I think the only realistic options for the East are WVU, Clemson, or Va. Tech. I'd love to have VA. Tech, but I actually like them. I can't have teams that I like joining the SEC. WVU is probably the most obvious answer.
