A good loud applause and ovation for him when he steps on the field against WKU should help! He played outstanding all year and could not get it done in Bama, everyone has bad games. Fortunately Jefferson was good enough to beat Bama.

So you don't think he should have been benched?

Lee is our high flyin qb when we need one.
JJ is our ground it & pound it qb when we need one.

We'll need lee for arky.

JJ was "ok"....but don't kid yourself, a QB did not "win" the game last night, Defense and Special Teams won the game. JJ was serviceable and helped, but let's start spreading rumors that JJ "won" the game.

The guy recovered from what is arguably one of the most horrendous freshman seasons ever, and you're worried about one bad game out of 9 his senior season?

With Lee, i see us handling arky in a similar fashion as the handling of auburn... With jefferson i just cant predict

I love Jarrett Lee... his loyalty to the program is astounding.... Having said that, I've never seen a QB so afraid to take a hit in all my life. His interceptions weren't merely a matter of not seeing the safety... looked more like gotta get this outta here quick.

most teams don't bench QBs just for throwing interceptions. the first one was because of a bad snap.

if JJ wasn't on the sideline then Lee wouldve stayed in. Also I feel like we wouldve scored more than 6 points in regulation with Lee playing the entire game

Hopefully the coaches keep the rotation the way it was before this game. We'll see what happens though.

This.

In contrast, JJ held on to the ball just long enough before taking a big hit on the option play with Ford in OT.

I'm a huge jl fan but last night has to have the coaches thinking about switching the rotation. JJ made some decent throws as well. Can't believe it's true but we don't win last night without JJ.

1st int was not bc of a bad snap.its because he threw it. A fumble of the snap would have been due to the snap. That said, shake it off lee

Agreed, and Arky's run defense is terrible. We are going to ram it down their throats with both qbs in that game.

It's not like Arkansas has a good D. They will make Lee or Jefferson look like Tom Brady

We will need both QBs to beat Arkansas.

We're lucky to have two QB's that play different styles that can help us win different types of games. It's a luxury. We needed JJ last night, and I agree we'll need Lee to sling it against Arky.

Against that D? Not a chance.

I don't think there's any doubt, and Les will realize that.

JJ was better suited last night just by his ability to run an offense not suited to Bama's strengths on defense. That said, even with JJ we could not complete a ball down the field. Neither QB could.

Heading forward, you have to get back to what got you here, and that is an offense with Lee in command with JJ coming and adding that extra element. We aren't going to face a defense like that again.
