Congrats to you guys.

I went to UNC but became a Bama fan when my son enrolled there. The 2 best teams in the nation (and it a good many years!) played last weekend and LSU won it the old fashioned way...with grit and guts and never quiting. It was a glorious game that wore me out, and I was just watching! I joined your board Sunday just to post this. The majority of the comments I have read by LSU posters have been well though out and even gracious (especially the one praising Trent). LSU won fair & square and LSU should be considered the best team in America. What's on paper is fun and important in baseball, but in football what you do on the field is all that counts. 9-6 says it all. (I do like LSU a bit because I did my internship at LSU Medical School & Charity Hospital back in the mid-1980's). Enjoy your victory.

Thanks Man, FYI, We may come off as arrogant and obnoxious but we're actually quite sensitive. Bama has a great team but I for one would welcome a rematch in the Superdome.

Why would you want a rematch? If UA won they wouldn't want to play you guys again! Good to have no fear, but if I were you, I'd be praying for Boise State so I could shut those idiots up once & for all.

Welcome ! I have nothing but respect for that Alabama football team , it was a he'll of a game , but I don't think a rematch will happen for a number of reasons mentioned in previous threads.
