Friends going there for the night. Need a dinner restaurant more like a nicer upper scale, if possible. Money is not an issue. Quality of food is.
Thanks
P.S. I searched the google way. No results. It appears we've gotten the search option back, but it only searches posts less than 5 days old, so no help there, either.

Thanks, CIT, but I don't think I'll call your sister out of the blue. They're only going to be there one night. You could call her, though, if you feel like it. Appreciate the thought.

Thanks, OG, but they aren't interested in BBQ for this particular meal. They'd rather have fish/steak or other seafood and meat options. Looks good to me, though.

We had dinner last year at Belle Arti and it was very good. Wine list was good as well.

I do believe I can make it a bit more subtle than a come on line.

I was just looking at the Belle Arti site. I'm thinking they might like this one. They like Italian food very much. Thanks

Is that the one where the mob hangs out?

I'd have to say "this is Gris Gris or you may have heard of me as Marie Leveau".

No mobs when we dined. Some got steak, some got fish, it was all good!

If they are interested in italian. I highly recommend J&S Italian Villa. Food is good, Service is good, it's slightly upscale (but since tourist locales have tourists, you'll see many people in very casual probably still). They have a nice patio that overlooks Lake Hamilton that you can eat on. Or eat inside, which still has windows looking out.
I've eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times.

Guster, they went to J & S and really enjoyed their meal and the place. Service was wonderful and the staff very personable. They enjoyed the location, as well. Thanks so much for the recommendation.
