Let me start off by saying I am a Bama fan and would love to have the opportunity for a rematch. The Tigers are playing lights out and are clearly the best team. Nov. 5, both teams left it on the field and LSU made the plays count when needed! Great win for them.

My question is this...What matchup in the BCSNC would be the one you would want to watch?

I know all the arguments that LSU beat us at home, no argument there. I believe that Bama gives LSU their best game. I don't see any other team that would even give LSU a decent game.

In closing, if Bama makes it GREAT! If not, i feel 100% confident that LSU will at least keep the NC in the SEC!!!

I don't know about everybody else around here but I'd have no problem watching us hang a 40-burger on somebody. I'm pretty sure most people here would rather not play Bama as we have nothing to prove to them anymore. Some do want to play Bama just to watch Saban go apeshit again. But if Bama is who we must play, then Bama it is.

I woould like to see either Stanford or OK St, just because I would love to see how our defense stacks up against some of the best. I would love to see the matchup with a guy like Andrew Luck.

I don't know if those are the best games or the most deserving but for me, they are the most appealing.

i think OSU deserves a shot but i'd rather beat bama twice in one year. plus you have the added bonus of the win being discussed over and over again for years to come.

Why???

For a chance at the NC. Who in their right mind wouldn't want their team to have a shot?

Sure would. Cant help that the system is screwed up. I hope all this mess leads to some sort of playoff system. Of course then, if you have top 8 teams then #9 would be left out but it would be more fair than what we have now

I think Bama is the better team since they have a better defense.

However, if Ok State kills OU, then they have a good argument for playing LSU. Their wins would be a lot better.

Would not prevent what's happening now.

Maybe, maybe not. But at least it gives a deserving team a shot.

You don't like the idea of a playoff huh? Interesting, you are a rare breed. Most i have talked to think we should have one.

Not disagreeing with you, just have a different opinion.

It would be terrible. I am a huge fan of Leach, but even his idea is flawed. Conferences are getting larger, not smaller. You will never get the Presidents to agree to replace a regular game with a playoff round. Then you have to kill the conference championships games unless they are somehow part of the system. The home games must remain. Then there's travel. It would be a disaster.

And it would change the landscape fundamentally. Forever, regular season games in college football have meant something other than just something you have to do to get to the post-season. That's maybe the best thing about college football. Institute a playoff system and there will be no more "games of the century" during the regular season.
