How is this legal? I'm not a recruiting guru and just don't understand. I found this article that was pretty interesting.

LSU did the same thing but the kid was already on campus. Les had to kick him out of his dorm.

And I don't know about your numbers but I would assume your going to sign more than 25 this year too. Unless you dont have any spots.

That doesn't change anything.

My point is LSU fans have no room to throw stones.

We're taking 25 max this year. No room to backcount. Next year no one in the SEC will be backcounting but will still be oversigning. For example even though LSU is only taking the 25 limit we are still oversigning. We don't currently have 25 open spots for next year. That is what the oversigning debate is over not the 25. Fans that just join in for argument's sake don't know why the debate is what it is. They just assume it's the 25 man limit. Oversigning is when you sign a class and have over 85 kids scheduled to be on scholarship and "cut" kids to make room. It's pretty common nationwide and the fans(and some so called experts) just look at the scholarships given every year and assume that's what the debate is about. To those people every school should only sign 85 kids every 4 years and no one does that. No one.Attrition happens everywhere but is just more common in the SEC. Debate for whiners.

What I find most interesting is that he says that Bama is going to find him a job. Are schools allowed to find recruits (he won't sign an LOI until next year) jobs?

Yes. Once he graduates they can find him a job, but it has to be one that is available to the public. So they couldn't get him a job he's not qualified

Even if he isn't it would be easier finding a job in Louisiana than alabama. Bama has higher unemployment rate than LA.

Didn't Trent Richardson mom get a job house sitting from Bama?
