very nice

not the best week to start cutting back, but the scales are not happy with my recent beer consumption, so might skip a night or two

or skip supper and continue with 2 beers per

tough call

Go grab some sodium laden veggies from Subway and wash them down with a couple of beers. You must endeavor to persevere.

SBD was a tasting of Shiner Wild Hare pale ale. The Shiner meh parade continues. Actually, this stuff is bad. Makes Abita Restoration ale seem downright tasty.

I felt that the Wild Hare had the flavor but just like all other shiners, it felt watery.

I'll be hitting up the Cove at 530 then onto Tin Roof for Food Truck Roundup. After today I am going to need a drink.

Can't join y'all, unfortunately. Got yardwork to get done since I'll be gone all weekend and there's some event tomorrow night.

Dude, you live in Texas where you can get tons of great craft beer. There's no way in hell I'd ever drink that Wild Hare with all that's available to you.

you have no idea how shitty the selection is in small town rural East Texas

I keep Wild Hare in the fridge because my wife likes it. It's probably the last thing in my fridge I'd pick though. I'll get it over Shiner Bock if we go eat somewhere that serves it.

They have Lazy Magnolia Southern Gentleman, which is Southern Pecan aged in Gentleman Jack barrels. You could do worse than that.
