I was amazingly impressed with this movie. Just awesome. I went in not expecting much but left the movie feeling like wanted to go kick some arse.
I highly recommend this one

Original or remake? I thoroughly enjoyed the re-make, it was well done.

I'm assuming the remake.. It has Russel Crowe and Christian Bale

The ending was kinda wtf, but it's still a great movie. Ben Foster almost stole the show.

Yea thats it. I hadn't watched many westerns until I saw that movie. 3:10 to Yuma sparked an interest in western flicks for me.

Yeah bale was great as always and crowe was his normal badass self. Foster had somewhat of a coming out party. Not the best movie ever but it did exactly what it wanted to very well.

I remember reading a thread where a guy bashed the movie because of the pact that Crowe's character had with Bale's to make him feel like a hero for his son.
I didn't mind that. I've seen the movie probably 6 times and I own it.

It was a good re-make, not as good as the original though.

It was a badass movie. I'm not much of a Russell Crowe fan, but he was pretty awesome in this movie, as well as Ben Foster. Dude owns every scene he's in.

Yeah, it's a great western. Great performances from Crowe and Bale, and Foster was amazing. I'm still surprised Foster hasn't blown up after watching that movie.

Best western since unforgiven, IMO

Liked it, but didn't love it. Worth seeing with many good moments though.

I wanted Dan to
his oldest son for smarting off to him so much. I doubt stuff like that went on back in those days.

This.
And Appaloosa was good. Not what I was expecting but I liked it. Jeremy lions wasn't the best villain in it. It just felt like it was missing something.

Foster was on a roll at that point. He made that 30 days of night movie watchable with his creepy arse character. Played a good psycho in Alpha Dog as well.
