Wanting a Honda and I know they keep their value if taken care of. This also makes it hard to find a good deal on one.

So, should I just buy new or keep looking for a used one and save a few hundred dollars

IMO if you are going to finance one, you may as well get it new. You will not get a favorable interest rate or loan amount for a used one. You can get financing through Honda right now for around 5% and the note on one is around $100 a month.

If paying cash, I suggest buying one a year or 2 old.

I want to buy one tomorrow, but have other things I need to pay off first. Mrs4lsu2 has a bun in the oven and I am trying to pay off as much debt as possible before the young-un arrives. I'd love to only have a mortgage when the kid arrives.

Bought my 2010 Honda Rancher 420 from Friendly Yamaha/ Honda in Baton Rouge after researching prices for a while.
They were the cheapest by far!! And great people to deal with. The 420 has a ton of power and I am completely happy with it. I use it to mud ride most but I also hunt and use it around the house to pull a trailer of firewood.

Yea I could go dump 4k cash on a used one and deplete my rainy day fund or finance one and pay it off in a couple years and still have my pile of play money for buying other shite for hobbies

Can t go wrong with a Foreman. We have three of them dating back to 2001 and they have all been solid and dependable. The new 2012 body style looks pretty sweet!

Got 28" ITP mud lites on mine with some after-market wheels. It goes anywhere I want it to go. You can do alot to them if you are willing to fork out the $$$

I can use the trailer for other stuff but it will save me from loading and unloading the bike.

I've always been a Yamaha guy. Love my Rhino and the Grizzly. But those Foreman's are damn near bullet proof. This is something I will NEVER admit to my riding buddies though

I think the one we use is a 5x8 with wood plank floors and a fold down ramp. Works pretty well for alot of things you may need to haul. I think you can get one for less than a grand.

I had a Big Bear and tore it up in two years. Then I bought a Rancher and loved it, and it lasted. Will be hard to convince me Hondas aren't the way to go

I've owned a Rancher and a Yamaha Bruin. Honda is the way to go.

Yeah those Big Bears were junk. Honda makes a dang fine machine. Hell a few nights ago I had the pleasure of riding this

26 years old and still ran like a beast

If I were back looking I'd buy a brand new Rancher 4X4. Plenty big enough and a decent price.

Big River in Natchez or the Honda place in Brookhaven will by far have the best prics.

You mean Great River Honda in Natchez? That's where I bought my last Rancher from. I'm gonna have to look at them side by side, and more importantly compare prices and see if I really need the Foreman or not

Great River Honda

I bought my foreman brand new last april there and they were cheaper than anywhere else in Louisiana I looked.
