Just got word of the bar in College Station I'm going to be celebrating the win at.
It's called Church Street Blues & BBQ (LINK it's walking distance from the stadium, it's on the edge of A&M's version of Tigerland ("Northgate") and The owner booked an LSU/New Orleans band that night.

The best bars to be at in College Station are usually the Corner Bar and Rebels. Also you may want to roll through the Dry Bean, it is a walk through shot bar.

I wouldn't suggest the chicken. That place will be crawling with aggies.

The Ranch is a good place FYI

Been there. Very small. Even with the patio 75 people would be a stretch.

Blaggards is also playing at O'Bannons the Friday Night before.
They are an Irish Rock Band from Dublin that now lives in the Houston area.
As for Bars on Northgate (there are around 30 bars in a 2 block area), my favorites are:
Corner Bar Rooftop -- 3 story bar with a Rooftop bar overlooking Northgate and Campus
Rebels Draft House -- 100 beers available including all the Abita beers
Cedar Lane -- Get the CedarAde and "Wake Me Up" --- fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Dry Bean Shot Bar -- 250 shots on menu that is an old Western Style Saloon
Madhatters -- 80s/90s Themed Bar
Logans -- 44 oz. tall beers
Basil Whippets -- Strongest Drinks on Northgate if you go to the 2nd floor bar
Schotzi's -- Live Music and a huge outdoor patio for drinking.
The Ranch -- Rooftop Bar as well
Zapatos -- Live Music in the Beer Garden
Church Street Blues & BBQ -- great food and live music
Tipsy Turtle -- Daquiri Bar, New Orleans Style

Not a bad spot but it is small. The beer is cheap, they usually have good music, the food is good and they usually sell whatever food they have left until close. Corner and O'Bannon's are my two favorite places.

I live in Texas and my girlfriend is from College Station, so I have been out there on numerous occassions. Northgate is an area of only one block of bars (about 4-7 on each side of the street with one or two retail spots being restaurants/pizza parlors), so Im sure LSU will take over Norhtgate that night regardless. I agree that Corner Bar is definitely the best bar and one of the larger/more spacious bars with two stories and has a roof top, outdoor bar upstairs. Ill be there for sure and I think most Tiger fans will enjoy it best! You should at least check it out since you are very limited with College Station's night scene....IT SUCKS BAD!!!!!!!

yeah, Northgate is much bigger than Tigerland.
If you put Tigerland on the edge of the Downtown Pub Crawl area, you'd start to resemble Northgate.
I'm very familiar with your town. I have spent many of nights in Freds, Reggies, Bogies, Ivar's, and the Downtown Area bars with live music.

Child please. Northgate> Tigerland
And I attended LSU for 3 years.

Also, the city of College Station voted to let people start drinking outside again in the Northgate district.
In my opinion, just go walk around and bar hop. There should be tons of girls walking around and as you saw, there is a lot of bars packed into a few blocks.

Are the Dixie Chicken and Dudley's Draw still around?
Posted on 8/21/12 at 10:53 am to Ball Gravy
Tigerland sucks arse. Stay away. Fred's is mediocre and Reggie's is just pure trash unless you're sub 21
