They're horrible at the side views of the characters, and they always have them doing something stupid like waving at the camera. Otherwise, a bit fascinating.
I met him in the College Station Buffalo Wild Wings in 2014, later that night after he called the game LSU/A&M game. I was sitting at the bar and he walked up. I was the only one in that area with purple and gold and all he could talk about was the freshman Fournette running over the Aggie DB. Bought him a beer.
No "All in the Family"?
No "M*A*S*H"?
Ted Lasso only at 48?
Crap list.

Women's basketball overall is a cheap, boring knock off anyway. It doesn't surprise me that the name thing would be another cheap boring knock off of something that was great when done originally.
This sounds strangely familiar. Do you keep creating alters just to keep slamming women's basketball?

I don't know his real name. Just know his as Goober Pyle
Don't quote me but I think his real name was George Lindsey.
Years ago we went to Antoine's Restaurant in the French Quarter. The place was almost empty that day so the waiter took us on a tour. We saw autographed pictures of kings, queens, Elvis, Sinatra...you name it, they were there on the walls. When he finally seats us in the middle of the big dining room, who is the celebrity photo on the pole right next to us?
George Lindsey.
All these famous people and we got Goober.

I hope that is many years from now foe LSU's sake because I understand there are NIL restrictions on NFL owners.
But more importantly, would he still be able to buy jello shots at Rocco's during the CWS?
re: The Meters are one of the GOAT

The Meters have always been and will always be one of my "go to" bands when I'm thinking about what I want to listen to.
When my son was in college he had what THEY called a "funk rock" band. They came in town (they were all Aggies and my son was the only native New Orleanian) for some gigs and it happened to be Bayou Boogaloo. Leo Nocentelli was playing, so I told them about the Meters and the origins of funk rock.
Brought them to the stage. Their jaws dropped once that band started playing. Total awe.

I’ve watched her a bit. She cries a lot.
But...he CAN'T die!

Better than Alex Box? I must have missed their Intimidator.

As long as you don't type "loose" instead of "lose", you're okay with me.

I totally forgot that Rachel Weisz was in the original…
She was actually in the second one too but bailed on the third as her star rose and Brendan Fraser's fell. I guess since he's won an Oscar since she's back in.

IN MY OPINION the first 2 Godfather films were great for their time but not all that awesome either if you compare them to the best of the last 50 years like Goodfellas and Casino which are a couple of my favorite gangster movies.
FIFY. Saying "LET'S BE HONEST" somehow implies that you know better than the rest of us and we just can't admit to it. That's why you're catching so much flack. Your opinion is valid, but let's be honest, that doesn't make it factual or absolute.
Others have mentioned the two major flaws--the lack of Robert Duvall's character and the casting of Sofia Coppola.
Missing Duvall is one thing, replacing him as the family lawyer with George "Suntan" Hamilton is another. He was already an ongoing Hollywood joke because of his tan. How were we supposed to take him seriously in that role.
Other than those things I also thought it was a great movie. It mixed the plot with actual historical events of the time. It added depth where most people who didn't see it when it was released in the 80's will never get.
From Screen Rant:
quote:
The Godfather Part III fictionalizes events surrounding the death of the real Pope John Paul I and the Papal banking scandal. The film portrays Cardinal Lamberto, played by Raf Vallone, as a moral and honest man who investigates the Vatican Bank's activities. However, upon being elected pope his life is cut short when he is poisoned by Archbishop Gilday, a character based on Paul Marcinkus, the head of the Vatican Bank. The film's depiction of these events is inspired by real-life conspiracies surrounding the Pope's death and the subsequent scandals.

I don't know, but there's a number for it on my car...
And in France it's wine.

Mickey Thomas was a great, great singer
Yes! I'm not a fan of "We Built This City" but Mickey Thomas sang one of my favorite songs from that era--Elvin Bishop's "Fooled Around and Fell in Love".
Get a Dry-Pro Air Tight cast cover. My 10 y/o son broke his arm a few weeks before we went to an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica. Needless to say, he was a very active kid and we planned on snorkeling, water parks, etc. This thing was amazing and there was rarely a drop of water after hitting water slides and snorkeling. You suck the air out with a straw or a pump, and it seals up. Worked wonders.

Playa de la Mar Bella, Barcelona--after 20 minutes my wife said she had seen enough schlongs for the day--big gay presence. Good gin and tonics at the beach bar, though.
Playa de la Malagueta, Malaga, Spain--better sights and they deliver drinks to you on the sand.
