i didnt see the UT game yet but other than winning a couple road games against average conference opponents, whats all the worry about? or is it worry about our team being ready? thoughts?

Not saying I disagree, but using that logic we looked average to below average against a bad conf team on the road..

They have a ridiculously fast defense that tackles well and seems resembles some of the units they fielded when Urban Meyer was winning National Championships.

Well we barely got out of our lone road game against a less than average SEC team. I'd be willing to bet that Tennessee is better than Auburn. We'll see about TAMU.
That said, UF dominated UT in the second half. Both their wins are better than our one conference win. That with the fact we're facing them at their place makes this game tough.
Also, their QB is making zero mistakes, their starting RB is playing like a first team SEC player, and they returned everyone on defense.
I'd say its a bit of a cause for concern.

They won on the road at Tex A&M and Tennessee. And the game is at the swamp which is never a walk in the park.
and truth be told, we just beat a [less than] "average conference opponent," Auburn, by 2 at their place.
probably going to be another close one if the o-line struggles again

But we have started slow in all 4 games. LSU is the type of team that can crush you out of the gate with their defense. Turnovers will decide this game...and I like our ball protection a hell of a lot better than yalls.

Their D is as good as ours or very close. Their offense seems to be better for now anyway.

i havent seen a full game of theirs yet. sucks if everybody's right. hope we punch them in the mouth early and try to take the air out of em.

Yep - in all likelihood.

I agree with you on just about everything, dreaux, but I have to disagree with this.
Not saying they're nothing by any means but I think that quote is bit much.

Florida has a bye week so they have an extra week to prepare!
Driscoll has looked good their RB is very fast.
The swamp is a tough place to play!

Yeah, I think their defense is good, but just not AS GOOD as our defense.
I also think their offense is better than ours at this moment. We have the capability to surpass them offensively as the season progresses, but they are kinda clicking right now. Most unbiased people would believe that.

big jaws with lots of sharp teeth and powerful tails?

if their d is as good as ours, it might be a long night, sigh, season. lets get it together boys!

You make it sound like LSU is just going to be sitting around making paper airplanes until the Florida game rolls around.

Driskel has looked decent. Then again, look at the defenses he's played before you crown him the best QB ever.

Right again. Gillislee is a very good RB and we'll need our DL to shut him down.
However, our 5 RB's are also very fast.
Respect the opponent but don't freak out.

Not so sure. After seeing Auburn, they're better than 1-3. They have some quality athletes. Their biggest liability is at QB. Wouldn't surprise me to see them go on a run and finish around 8-4, 7-5. Not a great season, but not a calamity.

Defense is extremely good. Muschamp makes excellent halftime adjustments(coaching) because in their SEC games they play extremely well in the second half. They are well conditioned and seem to get better as the game plays on.

As stated before their D is very talented going against LSU's marginally average, ultra conservative offense. Tigers have not won many games at the Swamp, and when they do it is never easy.
