I kept going from "This kid is a spoiled douche who's had everything handed to him" to "He's just a kid who is not ready for anywhere near the level of his fame"
I think his family coming from money that they didn't have to earn didn't help

I don't see what this has to do with anything. There are players who came from nothing who get famous who do similar stuff.

This article paints the Manziels especially his father Paul in a bad light IMO... Paul Manziels comes across as a real douche and its no wonder the his son is following in his footsteps... The family almost seems bitter towards the entire university

That's pretty much what I got from this. I thought the part where Manziel told his family he was tired of the attention in the restaurant was especially ironic, considering that his father turned around and gave him more attention by contributing to this article.

I haven't checked our boards today but I'm going to go out on a limb and say a good number of our fans are pretty rustled about this.
I didn't expect his family to throw so many shots at the university. Some of the compliance stuff I don't think he understands honestly.
