So the Sponge topic got me thinking about my top ten alternative rock albums of the 90s. That period was my bread and butter of listening to music. here's mine, what are yours?

(no real order)
1. Live- Throwing Copper- Fav track, tie between Iris and Pillars of Davidson
2. STP- Purple- Fav track- Lounge Fly
3. Veruca Salt- 8 Arms to Hold You- Fav track, Loneliness is the Worst
4. Nirvana- Unplugged- Fav track, Lake of Fire
5. Smashing Pumpikins- Siamese Dream- Fav track, Mayonaise
6. Better Than Erza- Friction, Baby- Fav track, Still Life with Cooley
7. Everclear- So Much for the Afterglow- fav track, So Much for the Afterglow
8. Soul Asylum- Let Your Dim Light Shine In- fav track, String of Pearls
9. Garbage- Version 2.0- fav track, Paranoid
10. Local H- As Good As Dead- fav track, Bound for the Floor

Third Eye Blind - Blue

Wallflowers - Bringing Down the Horse

Refreshments - Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy

Some great choices there, some I thought long about including. Though gotta admit, The Refreshments, LOVE that one song, but never cared about the rest of the album. I might need to give it another listen though.

Actually just got back from seeing them in NYC.

Bringing down the horse was great too.

Sweet, I am going to see them on Dec 1 at the HOB Nola. It'll be my first time seeing them (even though they're only half the original lineup).
