Went to look at a lab/collie mix today but held off from taking him home because I'm not sure how big he will get. Anyone have any idea? Will he get to be the size of a lab?

Boy or girl? Labs can range somewhere from 65-100+. So a collie mix, I'd guess, would be 15-20lbs less on avg. totally guessing

Big - 50 to 60 pounds, minimum, perhaps more depending on the Collie stock - you know Collies can run 60, 70 pounds, right, brah?

They call them Boradors. I'd say you should prepare yourself for a very smart, 70 pound shedding machine.

Yep. I've got one and he's about 55 lbs. (My wife's dog before we got married) Very smart, and I don't think there is a square inch of my house that doesn't have at least one strand of dog hair on it.

Here's a pic of what is supposed to be Lab/Collie.

I can't get the "img" function to work.

I have one. Best smartest and well behaved dog ever. About 85 pounds. Sheds like a mother. Gentle with cats and kids. Will tear an intruders face off. Knows neighbors and allows them in the house. Would get another just like him.
