Absolutely. If we can't win in Detroit on the road.... we won't win a playoff game on the road.

We need to get that confidence, and beating Detroit does that.

I concur, any sort of momentum swing we need has to start at Detroit after a Tampa home booster

We got 2 weeks to group up, nut up or shut up

Yup. These next 2 games make or break us. Must win both IMO.

I do. Not just because of the time and money I have invested.

We have a lot of work to do though. But, never say never I guess. I love this team.

I have faith in this team. Too much talent on this roster.

The bye week couldn't come at a better time.

If we don't get to 3-3, I hope we go 2-14.

Detroit has been playing very solid, so winning there and winning against (not barely squeaking by) tampa bay is a must.

You need and want that HUGE momentum boost going into the bye, have the players keep working and resting knowing they're still in the hunt, and go into detroit ready to run away with the division after that.

Its the perfect time to turn it around: another DL from Carolina got suspended, Hardy is still out, Cam is injured, Atlanta's OLine is now made of practice dummies, and making tampa bay our bitch will send them reeling imo.

I can take some bad breaks or bounces but god damn u just don't see the passion on the field, it's hard for me to see how effort transforms overnight. I would have never thought that Ingram was going to be one our most passionate players.

Defensive front line needs to wake the frick up

considering that after the Lions game is Packers, at Panthers, 49ers

we need to get back to .500 ASAP

I agree. The team is lost right now. Not sure what's going on behind the scenes, but something is just off.

It can be fixed, but I'll believe it once they go 2-0 these next 2 games.

Panthers are in shambles like us, Green Bay was before this past weekend, and the 49ers don't look as deadly as they did in previous years.

All 3 of those teams are in the same shoes as we are, vastly underperforming.

I've said I won't lose hope until we lose at home. I think we go 8-0 at home. Just need to win 2 or 3 road games. I'm counting on one of those not being at Detroit. Therefore I think we're still good even at 2-4 after the Detroit game should we lose. 2-0 in these next 2 would absolutely be mother fricking awesome (Ya heard?), but at 2-4 the season still would not be over.

Man 2-4 ... That's just keeps putting us way behind the 8 ball w nothing changing. 2-4 I'm kissing that shite away even possibly prematurely

At 2-4, even in a bad division, we'd be too far back. The stretch after Detroit even though most are at home, is absolutely brutal.

October 26-November 24 is the most important part of the Saints' season.

(Edited to add an apostrophe to "Saints" to demonstrate possession of the season.)

We can't have our 4th loss until we at least have our 5th win IMO... I mean we can, but this team needs confidence and going 1-4 or 2-4 isn't going to create that

Sounds like everyone is saying winning @ Detroit then losing vs GB being 3-4 would be better than the opposite with the same record?

Either way, we need to go 3-1 in the next quarter which includes 2 each home/road games.
