Marcus Williams led the comeback and gave it back :lol:

But we had lost both LT and LG during the Minnesota game. Philly's defense was absurd and hounded the shite out of Minnesota.

Candidly, I wonder who didn't fit with whom.

The other guys fit however they were asked to fit. Zion is the unilateral issue - hes an undersized, Uber athletic pf who is only good at one thing - finishing close to the rim.

If he was 5 inches taller, he'd be giannis but he isn't so you're stuck with him as he is.

Even giannis needs certain players around him to excel. The caveat being, at least giannis is a lengthy defender and taller who can rebound.
KAT availability would make us better and it'll allow Queen to be more of a natural PF.

Zion would make NYC worse because they're undersized and lost shooting

2018: 37 (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7)
2019: 52 (2, 4, 6, 7, 7)
2020: 44 (1, 3, 3, 7)

2018: traded up with 2019's 1st.
Lets say we stayed put, Lamar Jackson as the heir would have nice.
3rd - Tre'Quan had his moments, so won't redo that
4th - Rick Leonard; pass and go for Kentavius Street, Josh Sweat, or Dalton Schultz

2019:
2nd - Erik McCoy was still the best choice; we gave up the 2020 2nd for it though
- Other options, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf
3rd - traded for teddy bridgewater, wouldn't have to if we had Lamar. This could have been Jamel Dean, Dawson Knox, Quincy Williams
4th - CJGJ - still a good pick, but the next guy was Maxx Crosby lol

2020: now this draft...really fricked us up
1st - Cesar Ruiz. Other options? Brandon Aiyuk, Jordan Love, Patrick Queen, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, Xavier McKinney, Robert Hunt (pro-bowl guard), Jonathan Taylor, so...many options...
2nd - traded to get McCoy (not many right after this pick, so hindsight still a good trade)
3rd - Zack Baun, future all-pro for someone else
3rd - Adam Trautman, traded all those picks; if only we had brought in Dalton Shultz in 2018...

hindsight, but damn...in a world we could have went from

2018:
Marcus Davenport -> Lamar Jackson
Rick Leonard -> Dalton Schultz

2019:
(Traded for) Bridgewater -> Dean
CJGJ -> Crosby

2020:
Ruiz -> anyone
Trautman -> Dotson (Guard 4th), Mooney (WR 5th)

4th q meltdowns.

55% opponent fg percentage. Dead last.

They're 3/3 so far.

I've concluded spending less than 25mil for a lineman who can generate a pass rush is value.

re: Joel Meyers quote

I'm worried Joel is hurting so much, he doesn't want to return for the pelicans.

that would do it for me.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

We heard similar reports of how hard Brian Kelly recruited and when compared to coach O, it wad obviously different. Yet results were not up to expectations.

Now suddenly he's a lazy recruiter etc and kiffin is so different. I hope money doesn't make these guys lazy over time.
I don't think you realize, bridges not missing a game in 4.5 years.

We will break him intro retirement

re: Predict the Olave deadline trade

Posted by htran90 on 1/13/26 at 10:32 am to
We also watched players like AJ brown who 9/10 would have said he's a superior wr, drop crucial passes this past weekend.

Reality is - not many wrs singularly change the game. Olave definitely isn't one of them. But you're handcuffed into it unless you franchise him after the 5th year and even then, that creates issues as we've seen with players.

Trading him also brings risks: look at Tennessee since trading brown.
Their team is in purgatory, they need to reset.
Rodgers can fling that sucker effortlessly 40 yards still
quote:

Stroud is arse tonight.

Pre-draft it was said "Stroud might be the best 7v7 QB we've seen. Too bad, NFL isn't 7v7"

and that drive shows you how bad he is under pressure.
quote:

Yes, the qb class this year was suppose to be infinitely better. It just didn’t turn out that way. And yes Rattler and a cheap vet reclamation project to compete would have been my direction.

This is why the draft is a crapshoot. Going into the 2025-26 season, at least FIVE QBs were supposed to be franchise caliber.

Manning
Nuss
Allar
Klubnik
Potentially Lagway
Potentially Sellers

Not a single one right now worth a damn

Dorial Green Beckham.

Truly thought he was going to be special
"what do you think of the last play"
- good pass. Better defensive play

Is that what kind of question yal want? foh man

Link? Who are all these great OGs in free agency that we can actually afford that everyone keeps talking about? We probably aren’t even going to be able to sign Taylor this offseason, much less two good OGs.

Restructuring:
- Chase Young
- Juwan Johnson
- Justin Reid

already gets you 4mil under the cap

That's ignoring the carry-over $$$ from 2025 and if we left the void hits of Cam (18.76mil), DD (14.29mil), and Foster (1.4mil). If we were to re-sign Cam & DD you can safely move another 12mil (6m/ea) if yoou were to give them 1yr extensions and manuever their $ via signing bonus over 3-4 years.

That'll then give you somewhere around 30mil in space. That's before making harder decisions (kamara - old, ruiz - bad play, mccoy - injury prone, and granderson - is he even worth it)

If we were to not re-sign Taylor, its because he isn't worth the cost he may or may not fetch. Just like Adebo wasn't worth it (3/54mil)
Awesome to see.

Taking a team 4-13; fired their HC to 13-4 in his first year. won the AFC south and if it wasn't for a great defensive play, had a chance with a minute left in the playoffs.

F people for hating, that is a RAPID growth for a team, he should be proud of that even though it sucked. They beat some REAL teams this year
- Houston
- SF
- KC with Mahomes
- LA Chargers
- Indy x2
- Denver (#1 Seed)
I wanna know how much AJ Brown would cost to get...A WR1A-WR1B duo of Brown-Olave (locking him up to a Garrett Wilson type contract) and we'd need to only focus on finding a RB & OL offensively.

Brown will be turning 30 next year, but he's under contract for 3 years, 70.872mil. Value is there if we could pry him away from Philly. Would a couple 3's be enough?
