Hollywood just can't stop inundating us with sequels. Toy Story 4 is official.

People can't stop whining about a film development practice that's been around for as long as Hollywood has.

What a bad idea. I know it'll make money but they wrapped the story so perfectly.

all 3 have been quality, so I don't see why you'd use this example to make your point (one I agree with)
now if they were making a toy story prequel...
that would be shameless

........….........JUST NO!!!!!
Can we not stop at perfection? Seriously, they've taken the concept as far as it can go. Yes they and the toy companies are going to make 2 billion dollars, but could we just have holiday specials and that's it? I don't mind those, but Toy Story ended perfectly. The scene where Andy gives away his toys is a conclusion to a franchise.

I really felt like three was a perfect ending to the series. This is a bad idea for the story, but it's a great idea for making money. Can't blame them.

But where can they take this? They've already had jealous toys, toys tortured and dissected, abandoned toys, toys who have never been opened, toy stores, toy collectors, day cares, the kid growing up and letting his toys go, and even the final resting place for all toys, a damn incinerator. I guess we haven't seen a toy factory yet, but that's all I've got, and don't think that concept can carry a film. If I'm not mistaken, when Disney was planning to do Toy Story without Pixar, the plot was Buzz getting recalled to Taiwan and the toys having to go rescue him, also known as Toy Story 2 Asia style.

And yet, there is still no Incredibles sequel

Samuel L. Jackson confirmed Frozone will be back for Incredibles 2. Brad Bird is writing.

Literally every one has been great. I see no problem with this

I am not going to complain about another Toy Story.

this
hell, sequels to popular media were getting cranked out before movies were ever even created.
Also, all three Toy Story movies were great and I fully trust Pixar to make another high quality film in the series.

Pixar has earned the benefit of the doubt with the Toy Story series. If they feel they have a story to tell, then tell it.

But to me, that ending is as conclusive as when Frodo and the elves sail away from Middle Earth. It is almost the equivalent of the elves, Frodo, and Gandalf coming back and having to face another threat in Middle Earth.

Motherfricking why????????
They are ruining a GOAT trilogy with a 4th movie. It will be one of the greatest cinematic tragedies if this one bombs. I'll just pretend the 4th movie doesn't exist and Toy Story is still a GOAT trilogy.
