It's okay, nothing to get excited about.

A little bigger than Popeyes. Not extremely big.

Yes. You can find better chicken, I'm sure. But the place has a great business model. The employees are usually local college kids and are extremely nice. Its fast. The places are always clean.

I like Canes, but it was better in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Very nice employees though.

Depends what else you have over there. If Popeyes or Churches is currently your best choice for chicken, then you will love Canes.

I like Canes but they're starting to get expensive.

A tad dramatic, are we?

Not disgusting by a long shot. My only issue with the place are the sides. Literally everything they serve you is a lovely shade of golden brown/yellow outside of the coleslaw(which I don't get). It's very HS cafeteria lunch in that sense, but the chicken is good.

It's nutritious if your diet requires grease and carbs

Popeyes >> Canes

The only reason I go to Canes is the toast and tea

I went to Popeyes once and remember it being good, but everything was so small that it sort of left a sour taste in my mouth(from the chicken to the sides). I haven't been back though as every single Popeyes up north seems to be located in the hood. Not sure if that's how it is down south or not.

And quality is going down. Bad combo.

The soggy crust is nasty. It's supposed to be crispy.
