Anybody here use Yeti Ice? Do you still have to add regular ice to your chest? Is it worth it?

Right now I just freeze two gallon zip loc bags of water in the freezer. It is annoying because they are dripping wet when I put them back in the freezer to reuse them.

You are asking how to keep shite in an ice chest cold, while contemplating spending $19.99 on something because it has a fricking yeti sticker on it?

Get a 2 liter bottle of coke. Drink the coke and fill the bottle with water. Place it in your freezer. When its frozen put it in your ice chest and add a bag or 2 of ice. Save your $20 for another case and a half of Old Milwaukee Light.

But there's no sticker!

Sorry, I didnt see this gem. You dont need an ice chest. You need common sense.

Yes, because a wet zip loc bag will just ruin the entire freezer. What a terrible, terrible mistake. All is lost!!!!

Yes, those are designed to slide into the middle groove of the cooler. Hince the oval hole in the middle so water and ice can pass thru! I have one, it works pretty good, NO STICKER!

You're so cheap that you reuse ziplocs yet you're contemplating Yeti ice. We use Nu-ice and/or buy bulk ice at the bait store.

How much are those? You can buy the generic equivalent at Target for $2.

YETI is like a disease. My brother's kids bought him a small cooler for his birthday, and within a week, he had truck decal, hat, koozie, tumbler, etc...

This is an otherwise reasonable and prudent human being.

The problem with all the Yeti hatred is that their products actually work. Really really well.

There's some company called Artic ice that sells those things on Amazon for cheaper. I always just use bag ice but my mom and dad have one to use for their camper cooler and it works.
