A&M has been begging LSU to be their rival since they joined the SEC. A&M is still trying to stick it to Texas. So they need LSU while LSU does not need A&M.

This is false. The SEC schedule changed and so LSU ended that series which nobody ever cared about. It never was a big deal to LSU fans. Were you guys begging LSU to be their rival back then too? It sure does sound like it.

That series was always intermittent. In that 10 years the record was 6-4. Nobody from LSU really cared it ended because at best, A&M was LSU's 5th most hated rivalry at that time.

A&M running away from a 118 year in state rival is much more of an embarrassment. Stop trying so hard.

This!! They will literally riot in celebration. They brag about the most minor/moral victories. When A&M first came to the SEC they were bragging about beating a 2-9 LSU team twenty years ago. No lie. Earlier this year they were bragging that LSU carried Les off the field only because LSU beat A&M. Just recently A&M fans were acting like they won the Super Bowl because they beat LSU in basketball in the second round of the SEC tourney. The win was by a large margin but A&M was the higher seed, much better team, and LSU was not even a NCAA tourney caliber team. They treated this win like it was a win vs an undefeated Kentucky team and they celebrated like it too. Aggie fans act the same way ULL fans act like when they beat LSU at anything. It is very bizarre how obsessed they are with LSU.
