Busy day today as Asia, Europe, South America and CONCACAF all play a slate of qualifiers. Start to finish football on the TV today to close this round of internationals.

All Times CDT

CONCACAF

Final games of the semifinal round. TV a bit tricky with simultaneous start times within groups.

Group A
Canada - El Salvador, 9 p.m. (UniMás)
Mexico - Honduras, 9 p.m. (FS1)

-Mexico already through as group winners and it will take a small miracle to keep Honduras from advancing to the Hex. Canada must win, have Honduras lose and make up five goals in the process. Bonne chance.

Group B
Costa Rica - Panama, 8:30 p.m. (beIN Connect 3)
Jamaica - Haiti, 8:30 p.m. (beIN Connect 6)

-Nothing to see here. Costa Rica and Panama are through to the Hex. Top spot and the order of fixtures in the next round really all that's there.

Group C
Guatemala - St. Vincent, 7:15 p.m. (beIN Connect 5)
USA - Trinidad & Tobago, 7:15 p.m. (FS1)

-Almost there, but Guatemala in with a shout if they can beat SVG, have T&T beat 'Murrica and make up 12 goals in the process. fricking Carlos Ruiz can suck my balls.

Europe

Final set of games in Matchday 1. Somewhat underwhelming matchups. What can you do? Russia in a Ghana friendly.

Group A
Belarus - France, 1:45 p.m. (FS2)
Bulgaria - Luxembourg, 1:45 p.m. (FS2Go)
Sweden - Netherlands, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN2)

Group B
Andorra - Latvia, 1:45 p.m. (FS2Go)
Faroe Islands - Hungary, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN3)
Switzerland - Portugal, 1:45 p.m. (FS1)

Group H
Bosnia-Herzegovina - Estonia, 1:45 p.m. (FS2Go)
Cyprus - Belgium, 1:45 p.m. (FS+)
Gibraltar - Greece, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN3)

Friendly
Russia - Ghana, 11 a.m. (FS2)

South America

Uruguay - Paraguay, 6 p.m. (beIN Connect 3)
Venezuela - Argentina, 6 p.m. (beIN)
Chile - Bolivia, 7:30 p.m. (beIN Connect 4)
Brazil - Colombia, 7:45 p.m. (beIN)
Peru - Ecuador, 9:15 p.m. (beIN at conclusion of Brazil-Colombia)

Asia

You might be able to get the non-ESPN3 games on the AFC Hub at YouTube. Looks like you'll require some kind of VPN, though.

YouTube link

Group A
China - Iran, 6:35 a.m. (ESPN3)
Syria - South Korea, 7 a.m.
Qatar - Uzbekistan, 11 a.m.

-Behind South Korea, this group is wide open. China-Iran a huge game for both. Iran gifted a late winner in their first game and China did make a second-half run against the Koreans before falling short. Uzbeks will be right there for second place in the group as well.

Group B
Iraq - Saudi Arabia, 6 a.m.
Thailand - Japan, 7:15 a.m. (ESPN3)
United Arab Emirates - Australia, 10:30 a.m. (ESPN3)

-Japan needs a bounce back like a motherfricker after losing at home to UAE last time out. Thighland might be exactly what they need. Australia can consolidate things early with a win away from home.

The El Salvador match should be fun. They held a presser and just played a recording of someone offering them money to lose to Canada by one haha.

Found stream of Asia games on this Thai website bugaboo via VPN. Decent enough quality too. Iraq-Saudi playing in Malaysia. Didn't realize Bert van Marwijk was the Saudi coach.

Genki Haraguchi puts Japan ahead. Nice flying header in the center of the area after tons of pressure. Bundesliga doin' work.

It's almost like El Salvador has a history of throwing matches or something.

Japan has had five or so chances in chaos on the line that they've failed to put in. Stunned they aren't up 6 or 7 right now.

Why do they insist on playing huge venues when it's not even the Hex? Joke's on them. Even the national team will not fill an NFL stadium for a qualifier that shouldn't mean much of anything.

Play it in KC or Columbus or Salt Lake or somewhere there's a nice size ground with enough genuine soccer supporters to fill it.

Well Scotland and Nigeria drew 44k and 52k, respectively. Friendlies too.

The Scotland game 4 years ago before disappointment in a WC and Copa America? And a shitty Gold Cup? Really?

American fans that aren't diehards are fickle. Always have been. Always will be. It's a fact.

Not surprised by this at all. Will continue for Hex games too I'd bet. The irony is we choose to play Mexico in Columbus, the one game you could easily fill an NFL stadium.

Mr. P rejoices. Uzbekistan score on a header off a free kick to lead 1-0 in Qatar. Right now would be top of Group A in Asia.

It's not a frick up at all
Wasnt the squad announced before he came on and scored the last minute winner?

Would you pick someone who scored 6 goals last year and hadn't started a game this season?

Rashford should stay in the U21s for a while, did Kane and Shearer no harm and probably did harm Rooney

Also the Chelsea players who never age getting on the score sheet too
