Here are a few reasons why I'm voting for Fleming:
1. The man came from humble beginnings, built his career honestly as a doctor, military vet and businessman then gave up that career later in life to serve the people.
2. My number one issue is our country's fiscal stability (budget, spending etc). Fleming has a proven record of voting against all the wasteful spending in DC. I know I can trust him to do the same in the Senate.
3. Problems I have with the other main candidates -
a) Fayard & Campbell - both liberal democrats who will be willing to go along with Chuck Schumer and the like.
b) Kennedy - Career politician who has proven time and time again he can't be trusted. He talks a big game on being the champion of fiscal issues but wasted taxpayer funds on fancy office space along with shady bond commission deals rewarding his biggest donors. However, even if that was not true, why not keep him as treasurer? Even though it's just an act, he seems to keep the governor in check on spending issues.
c) Boustany - this guy is owned by the lobbyist on K street. Voted for all the bank bailouts, stimulus packages, cromnibus (which paid for Syrian refugees).

I voted for Kennedy. He likes to keep costs in check. He is smart and everyone in politics seem to hate him.

Fleming has also been trying to push for Obama's impeachment for like 6 years. That's my favorite bit of info about him.
I'm voting Fleming, but I think Kennedy will be in the runoff. I'm okay with Kennedy too though.

I don't think it's just "in politics."

Fleming is a co founder of the house freedom caucus and has been endorsed by Mike Lee, Rick Santurom, Ted Cruz and Jim Jordan. He's the strong conservative candidate in the race with an actual chance.
With the potential for a Clinton presidency we need to send someone to Washington who will stand up for democrats when pressure builds for them to fold.
Kennedy has been a democrat most of his life and will bend when Republicans need his vote most.
Boustany will do whatever the establishment tells him to do.
The choice is easy. Fleming for Senate

How would you describe Fleming as far as conservative values go? Is he a tea party conservative or a more traditional type

ok so he is out for me.

sounds like he isn't an ideologue and won't be so involved in grid lock and will try to help make Washington work again.
I'm probably going with Kennedy
