CONCACAF Champions League: Pachuca vs. FC Dallas (7 CT)

Tonight at 7 PM CT, FC Dallas host Mexican side Pachuca in the first leg of the semifinals. Both teams got to rest their starters over the weekend. This Dallas team is probably the best MLS has ever fielded in CCL, certainly much better than the 2015 Impact team that made the final. They need a good result tonight to have a chance. Vancouver need a miracle to beat Tigres in the other semifinal, after losing 2-0 in Mexico last night.
FC Dallas are among the favorites for the MLS Cup this season, while Pachuca sit at second place on goal difference in the Liga MX.

Why does this post kinda read like a press release?

IDK. I do write plenty of game reports for LaPrep Soccer.

I will post the highlights and clips of the game as they come up.
Despite being an incredibly corrupt and overall shitty organization, CONCACAF does a good job at posting highlights of CCL games and regional youth tournaments usually in both English and Spanish on the official YouTube channel. Probably mostly to generate much-needed revenue for a poor confederation, but I still appreciate it.

Is it on tv anywhere? No way I'm watching an entire game on facebook.

Some network called UDN. Think it's Spanish language only.
Not sure if that's offered in this country. I know it's not in my cable package.

It's on Univision Deportes on Direct TV. 464
Most of the time these are English language broadcast, but the description is in Spanish, so not sure yet.
Lots of Pachuca fans will be in the stadium in Frisco tonight I'm sure.

The feed is usually produced for a Spanish speaking audience (you might see some Spanish infographics) but the announcers are English speaking (but terrible because they try to make the commentating all mexicany). I think Univision does the same thing.

If it's Ramses Sandoval commentating, you bet your arse I'm watching the game on mute.
I'm sure Pachuca will have a lot of support, and Omar Gonzales will have plenty of friends and family there, being from Dallas.

Some early photos of the crowd on Twitter. It's definitely a Pachuca crowd. Lots of Cowboys jerseys.

Why the frick is this not on TV?

It's on Univision Deportes.
There will be no FC Dallas fans here. Only on side of the stadium is open, and it looks to be all Pachuca fans. The metroplex is on Spring Break this week.

And Pachuca scores. frick.

I couldn't see who it was, but the RB for FCD made an awful play that allowed them to drive right onto goal.
ETA - replay shows goal scorer might have settled the ball with his hand.

My stream on FB is super shitty, freezing left and right and it did so right when the Pachuca player shot and I was just like, "If he doesn't boom that it's in" then it unfroze during celebration

He nearly did. Went off the post and in.
Pachuca going down like crazy with minimal contact, and getting the call every time.

Is the FC Dallas RB going to get exposed all game? I feel like Pachuca have completed several long passes down the left already.
FCD have had some decent counter looks but haven't take advantage.
