So are we repeating Les Miles' history with Mainieri?

Won a title almost a decade ago, coasts, wins. But he does less with more and we are stuck with him? Catch me up here.
If so, I think we should consider moving on soon and hiring from within preferably with someone familiar with the program and players. I realize Micah Gibbs is being held back some at this point. It'd be nice to see what he could do if the cuffs came off and he had complete control of the team.

Maineri has had LSU a national seed for 5 straight seasons. Les? we got worse every single season until enough was enough.
I'm not even a fan of Maineri, but comparing him to Miles is nonsensical and unfair. Maineri is a top 10-15 coach. Les probably wasn't even a top 25 coach

you mean to tell me that Nick Saban didn't leave Les Miles with top 3 talent for at least his first 3 years? Saban would have won 2 natty's with that talent. Saban also just had LSU finish the premier football operations facility at the time.
