She largely cited these factors for her defeat:

- Russia. "A foreign power meddled with our election," she said, labeling it "an act of aggression." She called for an independent, bipartisan investigation into the Kremlin's involvement and said the probe should examine whether there was collusion with the Trump campaign.

- Misogyny. "Certainly, misogyny played a role. That has to be admitted," she said. Clinton added that "some people — women included — had real problems" with the idea of a woman president.

- Comey. Clinton cited as damaging to her campaign his unusual decision to release of a letter on October 28, less than two weeks before Election Day, that said he was looking at additional emails related to the FBI probe of the former secretary of state's use of a private server.

- WikiLeaks. Weeks of disclosures of stolen emails from the personal account of then-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, were particularly harmful, Clinton said, adding that it "played a much bigger role than I think many people yet understand."

She's still incredibly tone-deaf. Amazing.

I have no idea why she would put herself thought this kind of self punishment and self humiliation. She's a masochist.

If I was her and lost the biggest upset election ever to Donald fricking Trump and I was supposed to beat him by 10 points, I would stay in the woods or at least disappear to some island in the south pacific.

Or, the main reason she lost is because she was a SHITTY candidate.

That's true. That's why she lost

That's all she talked about while her opponent got off his arse and hustled for every vote and put out a simple message.

He just abandoned a central tenet of that message tonight.

Not once does it occur to her that she just sucks and would have been a third Obama term.
If people really thought the last eight years were so awesome she would be the president right now.

lololllllolol

I really couldn't care less if we ever have a female president.
Gender isn't as important as competence.

I don't disagree.

But we're talking about 2016 rather than 2017

I don't think tonight moves me in any way, but I think trump fricked up big time with the Ron Paul crowd and those are his earliest supporters which as we know is about 30% of the republican base

I'm discouraged because I feel like healthcare and tax reform aren't coming. I don't care about the wall beyond how upset it makes people that i hate

No, she lost because she was un-electable. She could have walked around handing out 100 bills and still lost. She had decades of baggage, bad press, and a public record that turned off way-too many voters.

She lost to fricking Donald (reality tv...bankruptcy pro... wife swapping, pussy grabbing, moral deficient... Mister Two Corinthians)... Trump!

In her arrogance, she called a lot of potential voters deplorable.
She failed to campaign in Michigan or Pennsylvania thinking these states would never vote Trump.
She doubled down on identity politics. Thought that was the path to victory. WikiLeaks exposed the Clinton campaign's corruption and collusion with the DNC and media. Worse, she arrogantly thought she could not lose.
She and her campaign called potential voters misogynist, homophobes, islamophobes, racists and bigots.
Two months after her epic defeat still can not come to terms with why she lost. Clearly, the voters in her judgement got it wrong as she thinks with the popular vote she should be president.

They're going to be writing textbooks about why she lost. I'm just trying to be brief. It's a pretty nuanced discussion

I'm just pointing out how blind she is to her own mistakes.

She obviously never played a competitive sport. I say this because she very clearly is lacking a couple of key life lessons,

1. You have to be self aware, go back and watch tape, practice your craft in the mirror, and get a coach that gives you honest feedback. I think she surronded herself with yes men that were to afraid to tell her she was wrong and she never took her opponent seriously.

2. You play to win the game... against ALL adversity. Any athlete who has played an away game knows this, you have a hostile crowd, and unfriendly ref, and the field was soaked the night before and you didnt bring the proper cleats. Your job is to play the game so that no matter what adversity you face, when the clock strikes 0, you win. I think the best example of this was the US womens 400 frestyle relay in 1976 when they faced 4 east German women all roided up. Shirley babashoff came from behind on the relay to beat the germans. She did so in a time that would have been a world record for the men just 12 years earlier, that was the only way they could have won.

Hillary refuses to take responsibility for her lose and that's a shame. There are a lot of young girls out there that should know that hillary had a shot to win that race, she just didnt do everything she needed to in order to win it. She sold herself short in the race, and sold Americans short afterwards by not being able to admit her faults.
