Nice to see Ed Paris earning that starter spot.

If everyone gets healthy and personal stuff taken care of, this defense could rival 2011.

Just saw the article on NOLA.

Does that mean (1) that Christian LaCouture is not going to play tomorrow, (2) that Lawrence has supplanted Herron, or (3) that Orgeron is simply using that "we have multiple starters at a single spot" kind of saying?

Once Phillips and Taylor get to campus in the fall, we'll be ok.

I'm really interested to see how the secondary plays this year. We're replacing a lot of experience with guys that have a great deal of upside.

I think it's positions that won't always be on the field but I could be wrong.

The purple boxes indicate a position that may not be on the field in different alignments. If they're in nickel there won't be an F linebacker and if they're 4 wide there won't be a fullback.

I know it's Spring, but it's good to see Ed Paris in what looks to be a starting role.

He's an example of a high profile player that came in, competed, had to sit for a couple years, and is getting his shot. It's just refreshing to see with all the kids transferring nowadays if they aren't starting as a True Freshman.
