OT recs on BR Pest Control company

Found a bunch of termites in my garage today. Have a contract with a local company, got my preventative treatment a couple moths ago, so I am calling them out tomorrow to take a look.
But that got me thinking, and was wondering what kind of good or bad experiences you have had with companies in the BR area.
What you got OT?

I've tried several for my rental properties and personal home in BR. The Bug Man is the best one around.
Two properties I bought had termite problems and they treated one and referred me to another company for the second because they new the 2nd company was cheaper.

Bug Man and Arrow are the 2 worst in town. However, they are both good salesmen that can market the company.
Who was your contract with?
Cotton is good. River City is good.

We use Best Pest Services. Very satisfied with his work.

Specifics?
Like, worst cost-wise? Worst service? Or bad at pest control?

Bug Man had friendly service but we required several retreats.
Arrow sends people that don't know what they are doing. They also lie about product performance. Totally ripped people off after the flood spraying for mold while the houses were still wet.

Another one for Cotton's. Been using them for years. Cheaper to DIY but I ain't got time for all that. I'd rather pay someone to do it for me.

I'm currently using Arrow, on the recommendation of a coworker.
But since I visibly see termites at my house, the strength of their pest control will obviously be tested.
So, wanted to get some additional opinions on the off chance that I decide this week That Arrow doesn't have a fricking clue what they're doing.
If they send some fricking Wangus out here tomorrow, sounds like I'll be calling Cotton's.

I use River City Termite and Pest Control. They will take care of the problem, professional and reasonable.

Not Dugas.
Paid $1600 for rodent removal at my old house, rodents returned and was like pulling teeth to get Dugas back out there for their "guarantee". Ultimately they didn't fix the issue.

I have read some prior threads about questionable guarantees, and having to resort to litigation to get the money owed.
But, I'm more concerned (at this point) with valid pesticide application and knowledge of the ins and outs of the business. Hopefully, if I can find someone who knows what the shite they are doing, then I won't have to ever worry about guarantee fulfillment.
I will gladly pay a little more, if it means good service, knowledgeable people, and the best fricking pest control in town.

I use Baton Rouge Pest Control. Never had an issue with them. All the big brands are a hell of a lot more expensive and don't seem as knowledgeable.

Biggest rip off in town. They sell 3/4 gallon jugs of Talstar for $300. You can buy the same jug on Amazon for $50. Same goes for their termidor.

quote:That was my thought as well. I paid another guy $300 and he didn't fix the problem, rodents came right back in. Dugas had a whole pitch and "inspector" who goes thru the house and itemizes all possible entry points etc. Then a different crew comes and does the work of plugging/fixing holes and setting traps.
I will gladly pay a little more, if it means good service, knowledgeable people,
I was willing to pay extra to get the problem solved but the end result was the same as the $300 bum.

Do most of you have them treat quarterly? Typical cost? My old house cost was $75 for once/quarter treating inside and out
