Where do people put Black Flag in the AC Pecking Order?

It's the one AC game I started but never finished. I've recently gone back and started over from the beginning and have now played further into it than I ever have before (just got the ability to use the diving bell). I'm loving this game so far. The pirate stuff on its own could be its own game. I keep wasting time not progressing in the story because I get so caught up in sailing from island to island taking forts and looting ships. It's hard to compare this to something like AC 2 or Brotherhood. All are amazing for their own reasons.

I see why. I always held 2 and Brotherhood a tier above the rest even though I loved all of them. But Black Flag might beat them all.

Its the only AC game completed besides the first. The first was completed only because it came during the earlier PS3 days.

I didn't like the boat versions of AC. Of course I have played all 3 of Ezio's games like 3 times each. In my mind AC is about sword play and climbing and 3 and BF didn't really do it for me. I'm probably in the minority though.

#1 by far, I wish they would make just a pirate game from it. Update Sid Meyer's Pirates! with this style of game play.

I would have to put it 1 or 2 behind AC2. Took a break from the series but the Egypt setting could bring me back. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, that the same group that made blackflag are the main ones working on this game.

My #1, after really only playing large parts of AC#2 and AC:France.
Never played #1, #3, Brotherhood, Cockney London, and whatever else might have came out.
I'm perfectly find with a whole game of that pirate ship gameplay from Black Flag.
