Many of those protestors are white.

They just want something for nothing

They feel guilty about all that white privilege.

What's the going rate for excessive force these days?

Their dear hero Alton would've beat the frick out of them and stolen their wallets. They never would've befriended him in real life.

This is a serious question. What type of background does your average white SJW come from?
Are they people who come from well off families? That's not a reason to have "white guilt", but it would make more sense if they did than if they came from the average family that was never really "privileged".

I'd award them $50 for their suffering. Follow it up with a $49 fine for loitering in the streets. Then tell them their $1 check is in the mail. Allow 8-12 weeks for delivery.

Would anyone else have been confused with the police orders here?
quote:
Dozens of protesters scrambled into the yard of a private home on the corner of East Boulevard, where the resident had invited protesters to gather. As police moved in to arrest protesters, a contingent of officers charged into the yard to tackle and arrest a number of people, including 10 of the 15 plaintiffs.
Others, according to the lawsuit, were arrested for standing on sidewalks or for stepping into the road in an effort to leave the area as directed by police.
But those directions, shouted by officers over loudspeakers to the protesters, were confusing and in some instances contradictory, and leaving many with no feasible way to comply, according to the lawsuit.
Police repeatedly told protesters to immediately leave. But with lines of riot police blocking roadways — and anyone stepping on sidewalks or the street threatened with arrest — those in the crowd were left in an impossible situation, the lawsuit contends.
Officers can be heard on news video of the scene ordering the protesters gathered in the yard that "you must leave now" — only for at least one other officer to also tell them they "cannot leave."
"If you try to step into the street, we will arrest you," an officer said over the loudspeaker, according to the lawsuit. But those standing on the sidewalk were told, "You must leave now or you will be arrested. Where you are standing is not good enough."

That might all be true, but I don't feel bad for them at all. They were protesting for a man who didn't deserve the thought. Don't live life like a criminal, and you won't risk getting killed by police one day.

I would've simply gone home like a normal adult.

Too bad the sidewalks weren't long enough to walk away from the spot without crossing into the street.
