Got into a discussion with someone over which of the tow leagues top to bottom were the strongest, MLS or the Championship.

Upvote if The Championship is the strongest.
Downvote if MLS is the strongest.

MLS best is mid to lower end Championship level, MLS worst is league one level.

MLS doesn't have the depth to meet the demands of the Championship.

the best MLS teams in any given year would be competitive for awhile and then trail off, the mid to bottom level teams would be relegated.

the problem MLS sides would have is depth over the course of a 46 game season. A lot of the top end guys for the better sides in MLS would keep those teams afloat but once your get a few injuries and suspensions the MLS backups forced into action would be the worst players in the Championship and would be exposed pretty quickly.

The best team would compete for a spot in the relegation playoffs IMO. The likes of Wolves, Fulham, Wednesday would run through MLS. Doesn't mean its a bad league just a completely different animal. It's why most promoted EPL clubs have such difficulty dropping straight back down.

I think they could avoid relegation if they avoided injuries, but it wouldn't be easy.

nah

two of their top three players couldn't hack it in England

I think Bradley on his best form at Roma would have been a decent player in England.

Agreed. He was at his best with Roma & Chievo.

Jurgen really fricked him up with the ambiguous role he had MB playing.

Bradley seems to be back to his best, relatively speaking.

That's half the joke. Messi could not handle the rigors of Wednesday night at Burton Albion.

He said mid to bottom. Bottom is 20th (1st) place and promotion. The mid part is crazy though.
