I have a very special pair of shoes that I want to protect while I'm working. I'm going to go with the heel protector taps for the heel but have no idea how to protect the leather from wearing so fast on the sole. What do you guys use for this?

Don't walk in them

The bottom of the shoe is going to wear away. It's kinda the point of shoes...

Why not just put them in a shadow box and look at them instead?

if they are decent shoe the manufacturer will offer recrafting. Just wear the shoes and have them recrafted down the road.
