What would you need to part ways with Gronk?

I have him and was offered Crabtree, Pryor lol and Rudolph for him and buck Allen. I of course denied it.

I have thomas, Alshon devonta Parker and soon will fuller as wrs. I think I might try to counter with Gronk and Parker for Mike Evans and then I'll stream tight ends

12 team standard league and I'm 5-2 and so is the other team

Ertz or Engram and a RB2/WR2

Gronk when healthy is just so much better than many other TE's... The drop off is outstanding although Ertz is with him this year.

Yea that was my thought as well, he doesn't have either of them.

I was trying to weigh the difference though in streaming a te but having thomas and Evans along with fuller

The other part is I don't particularly like making too many moves with my every Sunday starters since I am 5-2 but I've lost two straight and my team had a decent week outside of not getting in the end zone

I absolutely hate trying to trade for Gronkowski because everyone who has him acts like he's God's gift to fantasy football and demands a kings ransom for him. It's always 3 guys or so and one or two of them are your first and second rounders.

Didn't realize how good TE's were this year....

Ertz, Gronk, Kelce, Engram, Brate all are close, after those 3 it is a decent drop....

Ertz and Gronk should cost a WR1 or RB2 + a player of lesser value

is all relative to the TE position. The drop off from Gronk is huge. It's harder to replace him as a TE1 than even Antonio Brown as a WR1

Wanted to make sure asking for Evans wasn't out of line.

Yeah I'm an Ertz owner and no way am I adding an RB2 to the deal to get him. A wr2, maybe...if that's a bench piece

The drop off from Gronk to Ertz is not huge

I own Ertz and wouldn't trade him and another piece for Gronk. frick that. With injury concerns, Ertz > Gronk ROS

Problem with most Gronk trades are Gronk owners.

You spent a 2nd on a TE...your not getting that value back in a trade.

Engram is arguably the 3rd best TE in PPR football this year and he was a waiver add in 80% of leagues.

It is why most smart teams avoid Gronk. He is a mismatch but his name value alone ruins his draft position.

When you can grab a TE who puts up WR1 production you have a huge advantage at a position.... Engram was available because it took OBJ, Sheppard, and Marshall going down for him to become this must start. His best two weeks are his last

Every year there is 3-5 TEs that put up WR numbers. Engram was averaging double digits when all those guys were healthy.

Laugh all you want there really isn't a worse value pick than Gronk in most drafts. The few teams that are smart enough to draft and build around him in my experience usually draft around avoiding him because his value never sets in
